Sushi Nest in Elmhurst

Eat here all the time with my girlfriend! We love it!!! Food is always fresh. Price is a little on the high side but it's real high quality Sushi so it's to be expected.

Food is absolutely delicious! Friendly service too. I’m not from here but I hope to come back when I can. Five stars all the way!

Wasn't too impressed with this place. Had to wait a while for staff to come over and take our orders and once we got them, they weren't easy to track down for questions or the bill. The food was good, but didn't feel like a priority.

Great sushi in a calm atmosphere. With three or more people, order a Nest Boat sushi dinner and then individual rolls and sashimi til full. Reserve the front Tea Room for a cozy Japanese experience.

Go there from the time they first opened i new the owner and she new my kids but recently i met her and she said they sold the restaurant so i dont know if new owners will keep the same quality service. I went there one since that happened and i know already they change the ginger and some sushi rolls tasted a little different. Not much but it doesnt feel the same.

i can't say enough great things about sushi nest! the atmosphere was great, the food is fresh and amazing, the staff is wonderful and welcoming. if i didn't live so far i'd be here everyday if i could. there's something about how fresh and flavorful their rolls are. the hot towel is a great touch, the complimentary edamame is delicious and always perfectly steamed. the cucumber in the water made it taste even better than i thought it could! i would definitely recommend the hawaii roll, the sakura and if you want something a little smaller the alaskan roll is great!

Recommend the Volcano Poke bowl; spicy with good flavor. The crunchy bowl is healthy The black rice is interesting. Service is fine and decor is ok. Good for small groups. Plenty of street parking. A cool toy store right across the street. We would definitely come back.

My wife and I have been coming here for over a decade. They have the best sushi in our area hands down! If you're in Elmhurst and are hungry for sushi you HAVE to check them out!

This place is always good. Great for hanging out or a date. The staff is always nice and quick. Four Season Roll is my personal favorite, but everything on the menu is great.

Service is kinda slow. Most of my friends enjoyed the food - friend from California said it doesn't compare so he thought it was just OK. Be prepared to spend some money tho.

We love hanging out. Last night we found this magnificent place which friends told us about. We had a lovely evening there with very good cooking and an experienced crew and a distinguished cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly return very soon. We highly recommend.

The lighting is nice, and the atmosphere is calming. Fairly reasonable prices for the quality of food they serve. While waiting for my Father to show up to dinner, they bright out a dish of edamame for me to snack on. A really nice gesture.Once it gets fairly busy the acoustics get loud. For people with anxiety, try to come during off hours, as less noise will be bouncing around.

I call this unique restaurant once a month because I enjoy the special air that is exist in this restaurant. The crew is highly welcoming and qualified. The service is awfully fast. Also, the food they prepare is first-rate. I ate there many times and I was always pleased. The price is fair. I highly suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

Call ahead and ensure they have blue fin toro available. When served as nagiri, it's amazing. And if they do have blue fin toro available, ask if they can put in in a roll also (it's not too much extra, which caught me off guard). Wow.

I ordered the veggie rolls and some miso soup for delivery. Both were delicious and the soup was still hot when I got it. I could tell the quality of the vegetables and soup base were great, the soft tofu in the soup really hit the spot!

I’ve been here multiple times and have brought many friends and family. All I have to say it’s always fresh which I love trying different rolls from their specialty menu. Definitely my favorite spot

This is a expensive sushi restaurant. A avocado roll is $5.50. Yet they churn out these rolls that look like something a 5 year old made. The rice was a bit chewy and they put far too much sesame seeds on it.

Definitely a place worth visiting, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the rates are fair and it is always well organized here. 5 stars.

The Asian girl taking orders is EXTREMELY rude and angry and definitely needs to learn how to speak to customers. I'm not asking for an apology if you delay my order by 20 minutes, I am just asking you to tell me how long it's going to take, simple.

Decent sushi in Elmhurst, excellent location downtown Elmhurst. If you are there with a bigger group for a special occasion you can request to sit in the front table spot where you sit on the ground and take off your shoes to enter the area like traditional Japanese dining. We got the sushi boat and it was beautifully presented. It's a little bit pricey though.

Sushi Nest is a really great little spot in downtown Elmhurst. You are given hot towels to rinse before the meal. All the sushi options are delicious! Very fresh with a lovely presentation. Wait staff is friendly and quick. I went there twice while I was in town for 4 days. Below is the Summer roll and Bon Appetit Roll. The first time I got the seafood udon noodle bowl. All my choices I would get again.

This is bar none the very worst sushi I have ever had. This place is way overpriced for what tastes like old grocery store sushi. The rice was not mixed well, fish tasted old, and the rolls we ordered were tasteless. The house sake is absolutely awful. Save your money and go anywhere else. If I could give no stars I would.

I am obsessed with the Aloha Poke Bowl here. I recommend getting the poke and unagi sauce.

This is gem of a place. If you like sushi, I highly recommend it. This is my wife's favorite place for Japanese food. We have tried many items on the menu and loved all of them. I highly recommend it.

This is the best sushi in Elmhurst. A lot of other places have popped up over the years, or expanded their menu to include sushi, but Sushi Nest has always just been great.

This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I go to many restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The team is very attentive and the cooking they offer is so delicious. I never decline to have a nice dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.

Had a poke bowl and it was so good! We also had the dragon roll as an appetizer and it was very yummy. We got a miso soup, edamame and watermelon with dinner. Would definitely come back.

Had a poki bowl for lunch. Very quick. Super fresh and full of flavor. The lights could have been brighter for lunch time but that is neither here nor there.
